Scott is a board certified physical therapist specializing in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation for more than 13 years
Scott is a graduate of Jesuit High School, Clemson University, and LSU Allied Health Sciences Center where he obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy
Served as the Director of Physical Therapy at Crescent City Orthopedics prior to opening MPT.
Scott has been able to bounce back from 2 ACL reconstructions himself and has “coached” numerous high school, collegiate, and professional players back onto the field.
Certified in Dry Needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy and is also an EXOS Performance Specialist.
Certified as an Emergency Medical Responder in 2018 and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2008 with memberships in both the Orthopedic and Sports Sections of the APTA.
Extensive training in KT taping, Graston Technique, Isometric Biodex Testing, and Manual Therapy.
Served as the Clinic Manager and was instrumental in opening Tulane Doctors Sports Medicine Plus in New Orleans, LA.
Marie McLaughlin OTR/L, CHT is a highly accomplished Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist who graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2009. She is a current LOTA Board Member and is president of the Hand Therapists of Louisiana Chapter. As the former supervisor of the Hand Therapy Fellowship Program at Ochsner, she pioneered the first program of its kind in Louisiana, joining a select few nationwide. Her career includes significant roles at Hand Surgical Associates and Children’s Hospital, where she collaborated with some of the best hand surgeons in the state. She specializes in treatment of the hand and the fabrication of custom hand splints having taught several courses across the state. Marie's compassion, expertise, and dedication to her profession allow her to provide exceptional care to her patients here at MPT.
